Elbrus – one week to go!

So… this was all started about 6 months ago to maintain my desire, will, etc to train for my goalmount Elbrus. During this time I’ve suffered low will, some problems (that still bug me from time to time), changed several workout styles, posted some pictures (in the beginning), updated my trips regularly.

I feel somewhat ready for this. I’m not in the best form I expected. 83 kg, I hope most of this is muscle. So – we’ll see in a week or a little bit more :-) . Thanks to everyone that supported me and all the good words I received.

The blog will live with some more “daily” stuff – thoughts, personal experience about mountains, biking, books, music, etc. Things that complete my personal freedom.

Good luck on your climb!

I did Rainier in May and Elbrus in early July. Elbrus was more difficult because of the winds and the altitude. However 8 of the 11 on our team made it to the top…

It is just a very long, enduring climb.
